Designed with the perfect combination of styling and practicality, the new SPORTLID is packed full of features and offers an array of options to suit the modern-day ute owner's needs.  The ARB manufactured SPORTLID is built ÔÇ?ARB tough' using an extremely durable combination of aluminium and ABS plastic. The ABS outer skin is thermoformed using precision mould tooling to offer integrated vehicle styling and aesthetic appeal. The skin is affixed to an aluminium chassis that forms an extremely robust platform, designed to carry accessories and withstand the rigours of off-road adventure. All SPORTLIDS are offered in a smooth finish and include colour coded paint to match the vehicle.FEATURESLocked & Loaded The SPORTLID comes standard with an ergonomically designed manual entry handle that is key lockable to keep all your gear secure. To further improve the user experience, an optional remote locking upgrade is available which integrates with the vehicle central locking system. The premium upgrade kit also includes an interior light to help locate your gear at night. Weather Proof Nobody wants to arrive at the campsite or worksite only to find all their gear saturated from the rain. The SPORTLID offers exceptional weather protection with a full perimeter sealing system and unique folding front seal that directs water away from the cargo area when the SPORTLID is opened.   One Size Fits All With its clever hinge design, the single piece SPORTLID also allows the lid to function as normal when accessories are mounted on top. Whether it's keeping the factory Sportbar* look, or fitting roof load accessories for work or play, the SPORTLID is a seriously versatile cargo storage solution.    *Factory Sportbar adaptor kits sold separatelyWork or Play?Designed to carry additional tools and equipment to the worksite, or your adventure gear on the weekend, all SPORTLIDS come fitted with accessory channels boasting a 75kg dynamic payload. The track channels are compatible with Thule and Rhino cross bars and other popular accessories.Can't keep it up? For carrying the occasional roof load accessories, the standard gas struts are fine, however the opening and holding performance may be reduced. If you're looking to have constant roof load, an optional upgrade gas strut kit is available, which has been designed to maintain the opening and holding force up to 25kg.What about the tall stuff?For those silly enough to offer up helping their mate move house, the SPORTLID can be easily removed to transport tall items like fridges. With just a couple of basic tools and the assistance of another person, the SPORTLID can be removed in under 5 minutes.Fitting is a breezeInstallation is made easy using a complete non-drill clamp system. An aluminium extrusion mounts to the front headboard of the tub which incorporates a snap-in track channel for the front SPORTLID weather seal. The side mount-rails incorporate dual side latching to ensure a firm closing action and positive seal of the SPORTLID. The mount rails also incorporate a cargo accessory channel designed to accept eye-bolt lashing points and alike to keep your gear secure.Premium Upgrade Kit (optional extra)The premium upgrade kit can be fitted during first installation of the SPORTLID or at a later date. It is recommended to carry out this fitment with the SPORTLID removed from the vehicle. The premium upgrade kit includes a complete ÔÇ?plug and play' wiring loom, central locking kit and interior light. The interior light is battery operated to simplify installation. OE Sportbar Upgrade Kit (optional extra)With the unique design of the hinge system, the single-piece SPORTLID allows fitment of the OE Sportbars whilst maintaining sufficient clearance to the vehicle cabin when opening the SPORTLID. Optional kits are vehicle specific and include all required hardware to install the OE Sportbar to the SPORTLID. Pre-drilled holes make installation simple and create a guide for the holes to be drilled through the outer ABS skin. It is important to note; once a SPORTLID has had a Sportbar fitted, it should not be removed as there will be holes in the outer skin. Sportbar kits have been validated for the Australian spec vehicle market. Where applicable, wiring is included in the Sportbar fit kit to enable correct operation of the factory high level brake light. Important note: Ford Ranger/Raptor and VW Amarok Canyon full length Sportbars are not compatible with the SPORTLID.
