BASE RACK GUTTER 4 LEGARB BASE Rack gutter mount leg kits are based on ARB's traditional roof rack fit kits but now finished in Integrit textured black and with support plates to suit the BASE Rack extrusion. Steel gutter runners with plastic sleeves are included to spread the load within the vehicles roof gutter. The most popular leg kits to suit the majority of low roof vehicles eg GQ Patrol, GU Patrol, 80Series and 79 Series Dual Cab have been developed. Taller legs for vehicles such as 70 Series Troopcarriers are currently under development.Fitment of the BASE Rack system to the vehicles using a traditional gutter mount is done in a series of simple steps.1. Measurements taken of vehicle roof to determine leg spacing. The length of rack and number of legs will determine leg position ÔÇô no more than 1 beam overhang at each end and no more than 2 beams between supports2. M8 stud plates inserted into BASE Rack beam extrusion and attached to leg kit3. BASE Rack blade brackets are attached to underside of BASE Rack assembly with BASE Rack stud plates, M8 studs, washers and nyloc nuts. Optional deflector fitted at this stage.4. The vehicle's roof load capacity may vary between models and driving conditions.
