The 145 litre TAD109 tank replaces the O.E. rear main 90 litre tank, giving an increase of 55 litres over factory. A first for ARB Frontier tank is the ARB engineered fuel collector. This fuel collector acts as a 1.8 litre fuel bowl and provides a fuel supply during rough terrain, extreme vehicle angles, low fuel and fuel slosh conditions that may otherwise starve the engine of fuel. Another design feature built into the fuel collector is a spring loaded mounting. This clever feature ensures the fuel collector maintains contact with the bottom of the tank while being able to automatically adjust as the tank adapts to terrain conditions. The plate provides a positive sealing surface to the tank and accepts the O.E. pickup sender unit. CNC machined from 10mm thick steel, the plate is zinc plated for corrosion resistance.Strap Mounting Kits:The strap mounting provides a solution that is easy to install. Steel mounting straps attach to the underside of the vehicle and provide a non-rigid mounting system, which allows for movement of the tank within the straps.
