The OME team are proud to deliver a truly engineered and integrated Parabolic Leaf Spring and Air Bag system that is both purposeful and safe for the vehicle.Extensive chassis simulations and testing were carried out to determine the most appropriate solution for theFord Ranger and allows the driver to choose a comfortable and suitable Parabolic Leaf spring for their everyday weight, whilst using the Air Bag to accommodate up to 600kg of additional weight.All while being fully integrated and distributing the additional load to designated areas of the chassis in a safe and calculated way.It is extremely important to stay within the vehicle's axle capacities and the overall permissible Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) of that vehicle.While both are quite similar in overall shape, a parabolic spring has fewer leaves and tapers at each end compared to a multi leaf spring which features multiple leaves and has a step-down effect with each leaf being progressively shorter than the one above
