Introducing the exciting new ARB Tailgate Assist. Using a combination of cleverly designed struts, the Tailgate Assist safely controls the opening speed and reduces the closing effort by over 50% offering a simple one-handed operation.Following on from the initial ARB Tailgate Assist product release for Isuzu Dmax and Holden Colorado, additional kits have now been released to suit various model applications for these two vehicles. Dmax vehicles can be factory fitted with either metal scissor strap or cable style tailgate opening limiting systems. For vehicles fitted with factory metal scissor straps, this Tailgate Assist kits include replacement cables whilst Dmax Vehicles fitted with factory cables should use the non-cable Tailgate Assist kit 4744030. Kits that include replacement cables can still be used on vehicles fitted with factory tailgate cables however, the supplied replacements cables are not required for installation. An updated fitting instruction is available. Installation: Fitting time for the Dmax regardless of the kit type is 30 minutes. The fitting instructions include important product safety warnings as does the included warning label that must be fitted to the tub body as per the instructions.
